The ReM.A.R.C.able Foundation was founded by Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor Marc Fucarile in 2023. Since 2013 Marc has been volunteering his time and efforts to helping, as well as fundraising for many different nonprofit organizations he believed in. Marc made the commitment in 2023 to move forth with giving back through his own 501c3 nonprofit organization, therefor creating The Re M.A.R.C. able Foundation. This will allow him to give back resources, equipment, and financial support to the mobility impaired community and caretakers.

He is dedicated to providing resources, equipment, and financial support to the mobility-impaired community.
Our Missionis to offer assistance, organize events, and compile helpful information for individuals facing mobility challenges and their caretakers. Together, we strive to make a positive impact and give back to those in need.
Semi-retired dentist currently working at Indiana University School of Dentistry. I have completed 20 full marathons, but this will be my first Boston Marathon. My 24-year-old son is autistic and deemed "disabled" due to it, (although I see him as "differently able"), so I have found running to be a great stress reliever for me. I am super excited to run the Boston Marathon, representing the reMARCable Foundation and all who have mobility challenges, while, at the same time, receiving my 5th of 6 stars in my quest to complete all 6 Abbott World Marathon Majors.
Demolition man by day avid gym goer by night. I Love anything that motivates, pushes physical and mental boundaries or anything and all things competitive. I got into marathons and my first Boston marathon for family. My cousin Marc was in the attack on Boston in 2013. In his honor, and for his running teams I then ran in 14' and 15'. I am happy to say this year i will be running again for my cousin and his running team The REMARCABLE Foundation. I believe hard work and dedication gets people through many finish lines in life and I also believe that is what will get our team through 26.2 and the finish line of the Boston marathon this April 15th 2024.
I'm an American Sign Language Interpreter but currently a stay at home mom to 2 boys; 4 and 16 months. I have been running since 1997 and I'm fortunate to have a long history with the Boston Marathon and to have been able to experience it with the people who mean the most to me. In 2010, my husband and I got engaged in Hopkinton before running the race together, in 2019, I ran 26 weeks pregnant with my first son, and in 2022, I ran 15 weeks pregnant with my second son. After running the marathon in 2013, I've always tried to find ways to honor and support marathon bombing victims and survivors and when I saw Marc was putting together a team I jumped at the chance to be part of it.
I work at Merrimack College in the office of Development and Alumni Relations. I do fundraising and event planning for the Athletics Department and the Business School there. In my free time I am either at the gym or playing mens league baseball in the summers. I ran the Boston Marathon in '22 and '23 for the Ron Burton Training Village and I am excited to run again this year for the REMARCABLE Foundation. The 2013 Marathon Bombing inspired me to pick up running in the first place. So now to be able to represent Marc who is a victim and his foundation, it means a lot.
I am a senior at Simmons University graduating this spring with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Outside of academia I am gymnastics instructor and adaptive sports coach. A big passionate of mine is movement and making it accessible to every individual. My favorite forms of movement are running, hiking, and indoor cycling. I have been a medical volunteer at the Boston Marathon for 3 years. I am excited to get help coordinate this team and get each member to the finish line!
I am a 2024 graduate of MCPHS in Boston, MA with my B.S. in Premedical Health Studies and a Public Health Minor. I have worked and volunteered in the healthcare industry for the past four years in various capacities, such as cardiology, abroad visitations, research, and most recently adaptive sports! It has always been a passion of mine to help others in any way I can and give back to the community around me. I am excited and honored to be helping this foundation in all possible ways!
