David V. McNeil brings unmatched heart and hands-on dedication to The ReMARCable Foundation. As the owner of a successful hardscape, landscape, and excavation company, David has never hesitated to use his skills—and his time—to support others, especially within the disability community.
David has been a longtime volunteer and advocate, generously stepping in to help those facing life-changing challenges. When Marc required long-term care at Walter Reed Medical Center, David didn’t think twice—he paused his business and moved in to provide daily support during a critical year of recovery. That same selfless spirit carried through as he became a devoted caretaker for his father during his battle with cancer.
David's actions speak volumes. He’s the kind of person who will quite literally move earth to uplift those in need. His compassion, loyalty, and drive make him an essential part of our mission to empower and support people with disabilities.
John Stoner is semi-retired, working as a strategic and financial consultant, with a company whose focus is advising and guiding nonprofit and for-profit healthcare businesses. His career has predominantly been with nonprofit acute care hospitals and senior living organizations. Having served as a CEO, COO, and CFO as well as Chairperson of several nonprofit Boards, John has a deep appreciation and understanding of the roles of Boards, Management and the complexities of health care.
Several different paths led John to Marc Fucarile and the ReM.A.R.C.able Foundation. Most notably, John and his brother-in-law Kirk Hanson, a friend and business colleague of Marc's, share a relationship with mobility-impaired cousins, profoundly affected by their father's exposure to Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. Additionally, John served three three-year terms as a Member of the County of Summit (Akron, Ohio) Board of Developmental Disabilities. In his journey through life, John had temporary episodes of mobility impairment- back, hip, and knee-related. These experiences in life brought his appreciation for the families and individuals who encounter sudden and/or long-term mobility impairment. He understands how they must seek physical, psychosocial, financial, and other forms of guidance as they journey through the rest of their life.
